GRASIO SPORTS WEEK 2007
We had a funfilled evening on the 31 August 2007. We took a break from silat class and had fun with traditional games instead. We taught some traditional games to our silat exponents as part of our plan to revive, preserve and popularize them. In doing so, we believe our children will discover that these games are just as interesting and stimulating as the modern games they play.
Traditional games played during Grasio Sports Week
Congkak
Some of the games that we played are Capteh, Congkak, Five Stones, Hopscotch, Rubber Bands, Saga Seeds, Kuti-Kuti, Ye-Ye, Keleret and Sepak Raga. These games are played by our silat exponents of all ages ranging from 4 to adults. Our sporting parents didn’t want to be left out; donned in Rhino-tees and colourful wrist-bands, they joined in the fun playing these traditional games that they used to play during their younger days.

Thanks to all our silat exponents and parents who have supported Grasio and purchased the wrist-bands as required. In total, Gombak Silat Exponents purchased 80 pieces of the wrist-bands at $1.50 each. Grasio collected $120.00 from the purchased of these wrist-bands by us.
